Welcome to Bangkok! Thailand’s capital city is filled with wondrous sites from historic temples and palaces to glistening rivers and bustling floating markets. You’ll be transferred to your hotel upon arrival at the Suvarnabhumi Airport.

Exploring the charms of the Grand Palace will be the highlight of your day in Bangkok. Admire the beautiful Wat Phra Kaeo; home to the Emerald Buddha, the Royal Thai Decorations and Coin Pavilion, a display of royal regalia, decorations and medals dating back to the 11th century. You’ll also visit the Reclining Buddha statue at Wat Pho before enjoying a ride along the Chao Phraya River.

Ayutthaya is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was the former capital of Siam. From exploring through the stunning temple-studded landscape to visiting Wat Yai Chaimongkol, Wat Mahathat and Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, you’ll also have a chance to learn about the local community. A visit to the the Bang Pa-In Summer Palace and Wat Niwet Thammaprawat are also included here.

Fly over to Chiang Mai on your fourth day in Thailand, and get ready to visit the mountain temple of Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, the most iconic landmark in Chiang Mai. Your next stop is the Warorot Market where you’ll be blessed with the sights and fragrances of fresh food, flowers and fruits. Hop onto a local rickshaw to visit the Wat Phra Singh temple.

The Elephant Nature Park is a sanctuary for elephants, buffalos, dogs, cats and birds, as well as other rescued animals. As you explore the sanctuary, you’ll learn of the elephants’ stories and how they were freed from their hardships. You’ll be able to experience elephants roaming free at this natural sanctuary. Please note, there’s no elephant riding here. Any contributions made will contribute to the elephant conservation in the local area.

Chiang Mai, also known as the Golden Triangle as it borders Thailand, Burma and Laos. Sob Ruak forms the ‘triangle’ between the three countries. You’ll visit the Golden Triangle and cruise along the Mae Khong River to the old capital city of Chiang Saen, before visiting Chiang Saen Museum, Wat Pa Sak Ngarm and Wat Phra Dhat Jom Kitti.

Before your departure, you’ll visit Thailand’s National Artist, Mr. Thawan Daschanee. He has been awarded the Arts and Culture Prize from Fukuoka Asia Culture Prize Committee in 2001 and has built a foundation to support visual arts education and a folk-art museum in Chiang Rai; his hometown to exhibit folk art from the past to the present.
